Saturday, April 26: Libertyville High School standout Gavin Bennett’s college team wins to Purdue Boilermakers

On Saturday, April 26, former Libertyville High School standout Gavin Bennett’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their second matchup against the Boilermakers this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at Illinois Field against Purdue Boilermakers.
