Lindenhurst to honor Twisted Cow at tonight's meeting

The Lindenhurst, Illinois Village Board will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. today.

The board will take in presentations on the 2015 Queen Portraits, as well as a presentation recognizing local ice cream shop Twisted Cow

The board will consider ordinances authorizing the village to borrow from the Public Water Supply Loan Program and an ordinance that would regulate the disposal of surplus property.

The board is also expected to authorize village participation in National Drunk and Drugged Driving Month and issue an official Arbor Day proclamation.

Before adjourning the board will vote on an appointment to the Lakes Commission and accept this year's Economic Development Report.
