County board of appeals considers Krause family setback variances
The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals held its regular meeting Thursday at the County Administration Building.
The board heard the request of the Krause Family Trust for five variances on their property at 28016 N. Hickory Ln. in Wauconda.
The trust would like to eliminate the rear yard setback on their 0.10 acre property to accommodate a deck and patio, increase the impervious surface ratio from 0.50 to 0.58, decrease the north yard setback to allow for two window wells and an air conditioner and decrease the south yard setback by 2 feet for another window well.
The board also considered an Attorney Conflict of Interest Waiver for Charles Smith.
