The Village of Deerfield’s Sustainability Commission will consider energy incentives and entertain Earth Day event ideas 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 206 at Village Hall.
As always, the public will have an opportunity to share insights during the public comment portion of the meeting following consideration and approval of minutes from the commission’s previous meeting Jan. 21.
The commission is scheduled to examine assessment programs for both water and energy in Deerfield. Additionally, members will brainstorm potential concepts for the Village Earth Day celebration slated for April 23. A possible prescription drug disposal program will be considered.
Deerfield’s Sustainability Commission’s next meeting is scheduled for March 17.
