Lake Bluff Board of Trustees to hear from ComEd in meeting
Lake Bluff’s Village Board Trustees will address site plans, street patching and special use permits when they meet 7 p.m. Monday at Village Hall, 40 E. Center Ave.
Assuming all consider the agenda satisfactory, the village president and board of trustees will broach three resolutions, three new ordinances and a second look at one previously discussed ordinance.
Resolutions before the board consist of approvals and authorizations for paddle court lighting at Blair Park, located at 355 W. Washington Ave., and construction contracts for the village of Lake Bluff’s FY 2016-2017 street patching and resurfacing plans.
Ordinances comprise a site plan review and special use permit to allow the operation of an eating establishment that lacks a drive-through facility (Hansa Coffee Roasters located at 600 Walnut Ave.), an amendment to Lake Bluff zoning regulations plus a special use permit to operate a physical fitness facility at its 910 Sherwood Drive (Unit #23) location in the L-1 Light Industrial District.
Trustees will also attend to a second reading of an ordinance related to the operation of leaf blowers and other powered lawn equipment.
The president and board of trustees will invite public comment at a set point in the meeting as well as approve previous meeting minutes and correspondence. Finance, administration, attorney’s, trustees’ and president’s reports will also be presented.
In particular, Commonwealth Edison’s VP of AMI Implementation, Mike McMahon, will present an informational report about ComEd’s Smart Meter program, now in progress throughout the area.
The village board will go into Executive Session prior to adjournment.
