The Lake Zurich High School Poms team recently won seventh place in the National Dance Alliance High School national competition in Orlando.
The team earned a spot in the competition after submitting a qualifying video demonstrating its pom and hip-hop performances. The team placed higher than they did last year in the same competition.
The team also earned a second-place finish in the State competition earlier this year.
