Lake County Zoning Board to hear resident's variance request
The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals will hear a Lake Zurich resident's variance request concerning a planned addition to a home, at its next meeting 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at the LC Central Permit Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, in Libertyville.
The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals consists of seven members who hear appeals related to the county’s building and zoning ordinances as needed.

Petition of Matthew and Caralee Niemiec, record owners of subject property 23591 NOverhill Drive, Lake Zurich, IL 60047 PIN 14-15-212-017, see the following variancefrom the requirements of the Lake County Code and any other zoning relief asrequired:
1. Reduce the north side yard setback from 6 feet to 2.08 fee to accommodate theconstruction of an addition to the existing single family home. The building wallwould be no closer than 2.75 feet from the property line, and the overhangwould be no closer than 2.08 feet.
