Records show that in 2014, Vicky L. Nordhem, a teacher at Adlai E Stevenson High School at 2 Stevenson Drive, received $180,183.89, the highest full adjusted pay among all teachers in the district.
Included in that amount was $54,935.89 in taxpayer-funded benefits, $35,986.55 in retirement benefits, and $18,949.34 in other benefits.
Overall, the total amount Adlai E Stevenson HSD 125 spent on its 50 highest-paid teachers in 2014 was $7,285,409.66.
