Registration is underway for youth floor hockey and tennis clinics in the Mundelein Park District, according to the district's online program catalog.
The Parent and Me Floor Hockey program starts at 10 a.m. Jan. 14 and runs at that time each Saturday through Feb. 18 at 1401 N. Midlothian Road. The program is for kids ages 4-7. Skills that will be taught include stick handling, passing, shooting and the basics of the positions. The program will have a noncompetitive environment.
Cost is $56 per resident and $70 per nonresident.
Tennis for kids ages 3-5 begins 1 p.m. Jan. 7 and will take place each Saturday through Feb. 18 at the Carl Sandburg School, 855 W. Hawley. Participants should bring their own rackets, shoes and water bottles. Fees are $119 per resident and $129 per nonresident.
