The College of Lake County (CLC) women's basketball program has signed Alyssa Bouie of North Chicago High School, according to the school's website.
Bouie is listed as a 5-foot-10-inch guard/forward on her MaxPreps.com page.
"Alyssa has a well-rounded game with the ability to play inside as well as the ability to shoot the outside shot," CLC head coach John Bongiorno said on the Lancers website. "She has boundless enthusiasm and loves to play the game."
The CLC women's basketball program is restarting after taking a one-year hiatus, according to a previous report on the Lancers website. Bongiorno is in his first year with the program. He coached boys basketball at Maine West High School from 2013-16 and at Francis Parker High School in Chicago from 2008-13. He also was the men's basketball coach at Kendall College for six seasons, taking over the program midway through the 1998-99 season.
