Report: Woodland spent $11,405 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 is down 1 percent from five years ago, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Livingston County school district spent $11,530 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,405 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 503 to 509.

Woodland's spending in 2016-17 was 12 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
