FREMONT SCHOOL DISTRICT 79: Character Counts

Fremont School District 79 recently issued the following announcement.

Seventh-grader Devon Duym and teacher Sue Laspisa received the Excellence in Character Award for Fremont Middle School. 

Fifth-grader Eric Beauchamp and teacher Dawn Heath received the Excellence in Character Award for Fremont Intermediate School. Second-grader Connar Eaton and teacher Melissa Duitsman received the award for Fremont Elementary School. 

Preschooler Samuel Villaraza and paraprofessional Mary Pum Ousset received the award for Lincoln Early Learning Center. 

Schools nominate students and teachers for the

Excellence in Character Award, sponsored by Character Matters, for displaying outstanding character and making a positive difference in the school and community.
