Onarga Fire Protection District responded to 10 calls in 2017 - 900 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.
The calls in Onarga included nine fires - four structure fires, three vehicle fires and two other fires.
In all, the department saw $118,500 in fire loss - or about $13,167 per fire.
The department also received one false call.
