Libertyville District 70 students suspended 12 times in a single school year
According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 12 students during the year. That equates to 0.5 percent of the 2,374 students enrolled.
Of the 10 in-school suspensions, all of whom were elementary or middle schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for violence without physical injury. The category includes four incidents. There were three incidents of a dangerous weapon, other than a firearm. For seven incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
