Republican state House candidate Tom Weber for District 64 has gained the support of several local leaders, including current and past state representatives.
“I am humbled to have the support from so many community leaders,” Weber said in a statement issued Aug. 28. “The most important thing is to earn the trust of the people, and I am working hard to do just that. I would be honored to represent our district in Springfield and fight to make Illinois a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
Among lawmakers now backing Weber are Illinois Sens. Pamela Althoff and Daniel McConchie, former Sen. Jack Schaffer, former Illinois state Rep. Robert Churchill, and Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran.
