Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.

New site launches

We are excited to announce the launch of our new websites!  The launch of the new sites on our new platform is the end of the first phase of our website deployment which included the following:

• Writing and editing of new content across the sites - you will notice lots of updated and new information around the site.
• Updating of videos to make them accessible for people with visual and hearing challenges.
• Making sure the sites look good on mobile devices, etc.

Some highlights of the new sites include the following:

• Users are able to subscribe to news and updates by clicking on the "subscribe" button on the main page of each site. (Note - parents and families are still subscribed to school messeneger.
• We have packed the new site with lots of information that will be helpful to families who have been in the district for awhile and those who are looking to move here.
• The sites have a responsive design which allows them to be mobile friendly.
• We've integrated the use of our social media platforms on the new sites.  You can always follow us at #LB65 on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding Google search capabilities to the sites, adding more pictures and videos, removing any bugs, and deploying our mobile app.  In the meantime, please feel free to let us know if you see anything on the website that you really enjoy or that you notice is missing.  We hope that these new sites are points of pride for our communities and that you will visit them often for the latest news about our schools.
