Yingling appeared to outpace Idstein by a margin of 1.8 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Rod Drobinski, won by a margin of 10.4 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Sam Yingling, who received 301 votes to Drobinski's 371.
