Terry Link led Republican Soojae Lee in votes cast in Shields Township for the District 30 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.
Link appeared to outpace Lee by a margin of 83.9 percent on Tuesday in the township.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Terry Link, won by a margin of 74.3 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Don Wilson, who received 140 votes to Link's 951.
