Bob Morgan led Republican Fredric Bryan Lesser in votes cast in Moraine Township for the District 58 state House race, according to the latest vote count.
Morgan appeared to outpace Lesser by a margin of 49.3 percent on Tuesday in the township.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Scott Drury, won by a margin of 34.8 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Mark Neerhof, who received 4,196 votes to Drury's 8,676.
