Q2 real estate sales report: Gurnee

Median prices declined in Gurnee over last year, and are down 7.2 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 154 homes sold in Gurnee for a median price of $234,200. That's 2.9 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, 8 homes in Gurnee were in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Gurnee was $7,071.57 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.9 percent of their home's value in taxes.
