Legendary Stevenson High coach Paul Swan is set to be feted before the start of an upcoming Patriots basketball game.
The Dec. 15 celebration of Swan, who has coached basketball, baseball and football at the school and whose career has spanned 50 years, will come in the form of a pasta-dinner fundraiser hosted by the baseball program. It will begin at 5 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m. at the school in Lincolnshire.
Tickets, which can be purchased online at https://stevenson.revtrak.net/Athletics/Athletics-Baseball, are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors 60 and over and children 8 and under. Cost includes a ticket to that night’s basketball game against Prospect High. The deadline for ordering online is noon Dec. 14. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
Stevenson has opened its hoops seasons win four wins in its first six games, including a three-game winning streak.
