In matching her season-long assists production, Opsahl was in the mix on an Amy Budde power-play goal in the opening period and a score by junior Lexi Morgan off the face-off to open the second stanza.

According to the school’s website, Opsahl is now the team’s co-leader is assists, and she ranks tied for fourth for the Foresters with a +6 plus/minus rating.

A graduate of Hermantown High in Duluth, Minnesota, Opsahl is majoring in business and accounting at Lake Forest.

Forester Athlete of the Week picks are announced each Thursday following voting by the school’s athletic department.
