Community High School District 117 issued the following announcement on Feb. 11.
This past weekend, the Lakes robotics team 5495 “The Iron Eagles” for winning the motivate award at Sunday’s Lake County League Championship.
The Motivate Award celebrates the team that represents the essence of the First Tech Challenge competition through team building, team spirit, and displayed enthusiasm.
Team members include Jack Petruccione, Liah Klingler, Jack Kennedy, Kole Westfall, Ryan Sherwood, Drew Mathis, Pranav Prasad, Ethan Peterson, Alex Diets, and Luke Timmer (ACHS).
If you see these outstanding students, please congratulate them on their effort and energy this past weekend.
