Highland Park home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Highland Park rose by $113,987.50 while total sales increased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $611,487.50 - a 22.9% increase over the $497,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Highland Park in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Highland Park for 2017 was $12,813.23. In 2016, the median sales tax was $12,453.50. This marks an increase of 2.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
