ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 51: Edly-Allen Announces June Mobile Office Hours

51

Illinois State House District 51 issued the following announcement on June 12

Continuing her efforts to stay accessible and transparent to all 51st District communities, state Rep. Mary Edly-Allen, D-Libertyville, is announcing her schedule of mobile office hours throughout the month of June.

“It is very important to me that my staff and I have the opportunity to reach out to residents in every community to discuss the issues that are facing Illinois,” said Edly-Allen. “It is my responsibility to be proactive and listen to residents to understand their needs and how I can better represent them in Springfield.”

Edly-Allen’s mobile office hours allow residents to access state services and receive assistance on state-related issues in addition to her full-time constituent services office in Libertyville. Appointments are not necessary, but constituents will be served on a first come, first served basis. Edly-Allen’s June mobile office hours schedule is as follows:

· Thursday, June 13 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm: Fremont Public Library, located at 1170 N. Midlothian Road in Mundelein

· Tuesday, June 18 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm: Cook Memorial Public Library, located at 413 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville

· Thursday, June 20 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm: Barrington Area Library, located at 505 N. Northwest Highway in Barrington

· Tuesday, June 25 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm: Ela Area Public Library, located at 275 Mohawk Trail in Lake Zurich

“My district stretches across a wide area of Lake and Cook counties. While my Libertyville office is always accessible and we are always willing to accommodate the schedules of local residents, it’s important that we are doing our part to make our office as accessible and open as possible to every single resident in the 51st District,” Edly-Allen added. “I encourage residents to stop by and share their concerns and ideas, receive assistance on a state-related issue, or just stop in to say hello and introduce themselves.”
