Thank you to Mayor Weppler, Village of Libertyville, Illinois and Metra for inviting me to ribbon cutting celebration for the newly renovated Libertyville Metra Station! This project is a great example of state and local partners collaborating on a joint goal.This station is a beautiful welcome mat to Libertyville and our ever growing Mainstreet Libertyville. Investments like this in our public transit system are very vital to the growth of our communities. This new station meets ADA Compliant reaffirms our commitment to ensuring our entire population has access to all modes of transportation.
