ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 62: Yingling to Update Constituents Over Coffee

62

Illinois State House District 62 issued the following announcement on Aug. 15

As part of his effort this summer to listen to constituents all across his district, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, will be hosting a Coffee with Sam event to provide updates to community members and get feedback about what they would like to see going forward. The event will be held on Saturday, August 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Main Street Cafe, located at 202 E Main St in Round Lake Park.

“Meeting with constituents is helpful for me because it is the best way for me to get feedback for my work in Springfield,” Yingling said. “I strive to represent the interests of our community in Springfield, and the best way for me to do that is by hearing directly from constituents.”

Over the summer, Yingling has made it a priority to give residents ample opportunities to make their voices heard. Aside from previous Coffee with Sam events, Yingling has also held town halls, seminars, and other community events to keep constituents informed as well as giving them a chance to share their thoughts and opinions on various issues.

“When I am not in Springfield, my number one goal is to talk to and hear from as many constituents as possible,” Yingling said. “I am looking forward to hearing from even more residents at this event.”

For more information, please contact Yingling’s constituent office at 847-231-6262 or email at repsamyingling@gmail.com.
