HIGHWOOD DESIGN DISTRICT LAUNCH PARTY

Highwood Design District is a unique collection of brick-and-mortar shops, individual tradespeople, and local merchants representing the very best in design. It's also a three-day celebration of design and home improvement from the Highwood Chamber of Commerce, starting with this festive party during Highwood Design Week presented by Sherwin-Williams. Ticket price includes a tasting and tour of 28 Mile Vodka, light bites provided by featured local restaurants, live music, and a chance to mingle with Highwood’s design professionals.

Chicago-area professionals in architecture, real estate, construction, interior design, home improvement, landscaping, and art and décor are invited to participate in a series of trade-focused special events during Highwood Design Week presented by Sherwin-Williams, September 1–7. This new initiative from the Highwood Chamber of Commerce will showcase businesses within the Highwood Design District and connect industry professionals, artists, and local merchants with each other and the community.
The Design Professionals Showcase on Friday, September 6, features a self-guided tour of Highwood Design District businesses exclusively for industry professionals. Registered guests will have the opportunity to interact with the owners of local design-related enterprises as well as attend demonstrations and presentations, some of which qualify for CEUs. Check-in, as well as additional networking and shopping for unique art and décor items, will be in a VIP Vendor Tent, 341 Waukegan Ave. The tradeshow-style merchandise mart will be open on September 6 and 7. A tour map and schedule of activities will be released soon and provided during check-in. Free for industry professionals; registration requested.

During Highwood Design Week presented by Sherwin-Williams, Highwood Design District events will include a Public Expo on Saturday, September 7, that is free and open to everyone, though registration is required. Interested design customers can stroll the streets of Highwood to shop; connect with designers, contractors, and landscapers; attend demonstrations; and find inspiration and expert advice for their home and garden projects.
Check-in, as well as additional activities, will take place in a VIP Vendor Tent at 341 Waukegan Avenue. The tradeshow-style merchandise mart will allow visitors to mix, mingle, and network, as well as shop for unique art and décor items. The Expo is free to the public; registration requested.
