October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join me in collecting birthday supplies to be assembled into "birthday party in a bag" kits! I'll be assembling the kits with my Women's Advisory Council, and the kits will be donated to domestic violence shelters in the area. The kits ensure that, even during difficult times, families are able to celebrate birthdays with their loved ones.
We're collecting supplies now until October 16. Supplies can be brought to any of my upcoming events, or they can be dropped off at my district office at 36100 Brookside Drive Suite LL 60 in Gurnee.

- Cake mix
- Icing
- Birthday candles
- Paper plates
- Napkins
- Balloons
- Misc. birthday supplies
