Aptakisic Tripp Community Consolidated School District 102 issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Aptakisic 7th graders are using multiple camera angles to film Public Service Announcements (PSAs), building portable sound booths, and researching real-world problems to name just a few of the many projects that students have chosen.
AJHS Communications teacher Jennifer Smith designs opportunities to introduce students to the wide array of tools used in the complex world of communications.
Students are not only discovering individual strengths and passions, but they are also developing skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, communicating to targeted audiences, embracing the unique perspective of others, seeking a balance in life, and communicating in multiple formats.
