Illinois State House District 59 issued the following announcement on Nov. 15
This fall we voted to rein in outrageous insulin prices, consolidate first responder pension systems to maximize returns and ease the burden on property taxpayers, and I took a critical first step toward reforming Illinois’ ethics laws by expanding disclosure requirements for lobbyists. The House also passed a bill to phase out EtO emissions near communities, which unfortunately stalled in the Senate — we will keep working on that issue until we get it right. I am looking forward to returning to Springfield in January to work with my colleagues to get even more great things done!
