ADLAI E STEVENSON HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 125: Think Pink/Kay Yow Night Set for Jan. 24

Adlai E Stevenson High School District 125 issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.

The girls basketball program will hold its annual Think Pink/Kay Yow Night games on Friday, Jan. 24. The night is dedicated to honor those who are battling or have battled women’s cancers.

Stevenson will face Lake Forest in all four games:

5:30 p.m. Freshman/sophomore in the Field House

5:30 p.m. Junior varsity in the Sports Center

6:30 p.m. Freshman B in the Field House

7 p.m. - Varsity in the Sports Center

The evening serves as a fundraiser for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, which seeks to extend and improve the lives of people battling cancer. Yow is the former head women’s basketball coach at North Carolina State University, and was a founding member and president of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
