Adlai E Stevenson High School District 125 issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
The distribution of the 2019-20 Ambassador yearbook will be combined with photo sessions for the 2020-21 yearbook/ student ID cards the week of Aug. 10 at Stevenson.
• Any student who ordered a 2019-20 yearbook should come to campus on these dates to pick up their yearbook.
• Freshmen, sophomores and juniors should come to campus to have their yearbook and student ID photo taken.
• Seniors should come to campus dressed to have their senior portrait for the yearbook taken. This is a free session and 6-8 images of each student will be taken. After the session, an email will be sent with a direct link for students to select their yearbook image and purchase from a variety of
packages and a la carte items.
Visual Image Photography will be offering additional appointments in the future for fee-based portrait packages such as photos with a student in an outdoor setting or a different pose including holding a musical instrument, piece of athletic equipment or object representing an activity they were involved in at school. The details for when and where those sessions will occur are being worked out and will be communicated in the future. Seniors who elect to wait for the fee-based portrait sessions are also encouraged to come to campus during the week of Aug. 10 for their yearbook photo. The free yearbook only senior portraits will not be taken at the VIP Wheeling studio this year.
For this distribution and photo session, and using the schedule below, we are asking students to enter the campus via the Port Clinton entrance and drive around the campus to Parking Lot B. Once you arrive, we will have staff direct you to the appropriate spot for yearbook pick up and photos. Distribution and pictures will occur rain or shine under tents unless lightning makes the process unsafe. We ask that current sophomore (‘23), junior (‘22), and senior (‘21) students bring their school ID.

• Tuesday, Aug 11:
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Last name Letters G - K
• Wednesday, Aug 12:
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Last name Letters L - R
• Thursday, Aug 13:
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Last name Letters S - Z
• Friday, Aug 13:
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Make up session for anyone
Several tents will be placed in Parking Lot B for photos with optimized lighting and backgrounds. Social distancing will be adhered to. Students are expected to wear a mask when directed to exit their vehicles and staff members will be wearing masks during all activities. A contactless system for photo sessions will be utilized.
