Graduates earn 398 degrees from Lake Forest College

About 26.1 percent of the 398 degrees and certificates handed out by Lake Forest College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Forest conferred 104 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business/commerce. Data shows the school gave out 53 bachelor's degrees in general business/commerce, followed by 51 bachelor's degrees in general finance and 33 bachelor's degrees in speech communication and rhetoric.

The college enrolled 1,512 students for 2017-18, including 1,492 in undergraduate programs and 20 in graduate programs.
