Cost of college went up for all students at Trinity International University-Illinois

Tuition and fees rose 5.3 percent for 2018-19 at Trinity International University-Illinois, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $32,390 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,640 more than the $30,750 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 137 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.4 million and 129 students took out student loans totaling more than $1 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,775), 681 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12.7 million, and 585 students took out $4.6 million in federal student loans.
