Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 issued the following announcement on Apr 29.

Good afternoon Lake Bluff Families,

The Illinois State Board of Education has granted school districts five Remote Learning Planning Days for the 2020-2021 school year, which count as student attendance days. Currently our last day of student attendance is scheduled for Thursday, June 10, however we will be using that day to take advantage of our final Remote Planning Day. We will use this day as a staff to continue our transition planning for the 21-22 school year.

Therefore, the last day of student attendance for this school year will be on Wednesday, June 9. More information will be coming soon from LBES and LBMS regarding specific activities planned for the end of the year.

I will be providing an update to the Board of Education in May with more detailed information on our plans for the 21-22 school year.

As always, thank you for your continued understanding and support during this time.

In partnership,

Dr. Lisa Leali

Superintendent of Schools
