As we look ahead to the possibilities and promise of a new year, take a final look back on the most impactful stories of 2021 at Mundelein Seminary.

9. ON A MISSION HIGHLIGHTS SEMINARIAN SOCIAL JUSTICE OUTREACH

Seminarian Robert Lamorena of the Diocese of San Jose received the 2020-2021 Monsignor Canary Theological Education Grant. This grant is awarded to seminarians and faculty members in alternating years to allow them to pursue a project outside of their standard formation and teaching responsibilities.

Lamorena released a seven-part series, On a Mission, which features interviews with Mundelein seminarians from dioceses across the country, highlighting the diverse service projects and social justice outreach in which they are engaged.
