Report: Kildeer Countryside School District spent $15,070 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96 was up 2.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $14,722 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,070 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,178 to 3,273 students over the same period.

Kildeer Countryside's spending in 2019-20 was 4 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
