On March 23, H. Michael and Karen Cooper sold their home at 2318 Gilead Ave., Zion to Jesus Bernal Castillo and Rosa Isela Castaneda Diaz for $100,000.

In 2020, the property tax paid for this property was $5,119.58, which is 5.12% of the sale price of the home.

So far in March 2022, 41 properties sold in Zion.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, there were four registered voters residing at 2318 Gilead Ave. as of Oct. 10, 2020: William O. Armstead, 80, Leigh a Courtright, 41, Katrell M. Armstead, 29, and Johnathan C. Armstead, 32.
