State Sen.Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) has relocated his district office from McHenry to the Woodstock square, according to a news release. 

“Not only is Woodstock the county seat, but the Woodstock Square draws a great deal of visitor traffic,” the senator said. “By moving my office to this easily-accessible location, I am hoping we will have drop-in visitors who are interested to learn how my office can help them with issues involving state agencies, and how they can become more involved with their state government.” said Wilcox. 

The new location for the Wilcox district office is 209 North Benton St. and the phone number will remain 815-455-6330, and constituents can continue to email the senator through the contact form on his website (SenatorWilcox.com).

Once the weather heats up, Wilcox said he is planning on hosting an official open house for the new office.

 “But for now I invite my constituents to come see the new space at their convenience," he said. "I have a highly-trained constituent services staff that can help people navigate state agencies and departments, and they can often help residents cut through some of the state government red tape."

Constituents won't experience disruption of services during the move, the senator added.
