The Buffalo Grove Park District has announced plans to host a Preschool Open House for the 2024-25 school year. This event will provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to meet the teachers, learn about the programs, and explore the classrooms.
According to a news release from the Buffalo Grove Park District, the Alcott Center will be the venue for this open house. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon. The center is conveniently located at 530 Bernard Drive in Buffalo Grove.
The district's website informs that in-district registration for the Preschool at Buffalo Grove Park District will commence at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1. Meanwhile, out-of-district registration will open one week later at the same time on Thursday, Feb. 8.
Registered families can expect to receive student intake forms in mid-August as per information available on the district's website. These forms will also be accessible online under "Forms" in the Parent Corner section of the website. It is imperative that these forms are completed and submitted before the child's start date.
A variety of programs are available according to information on the district's website. These include Two Year Preschool, Pre-Threes, Three Year Old Preschool, and Four Year Old Preschool.
