On Friday, March 1, former Houghton Central High School standout Mackenzie Ekdahl’s current college team, the Lake County Lancers, lost 8-7 in their NJCAA game against the Illinois Central Cougars.

The game took place in East Peoria, Illinois. This was their first matchup against the Illinois Central Cougars this season.

The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 1 p.m. in East Peoria, Illinois against Illinois Central Cougars.
