FOIA Request to Highland Park City Council Regarding Detailed Information on Current Council Members on October 15, 2024.

In our continuous efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at the Lake County Gazette have submitted a request for records under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140. The request was sent electronically to the Highland Park City Council on October 15, 2024.

The information requested includes a list of all current council members with specific details such as their names, titles, years of appointment, term lengths (2 or 4 years), and term expiry dates. This information is crucial in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
