62.9% of Barrington Community Unit School District 220 students met or exceeded ELA IAR expectations on tests in 2022-23 school year

In the 2022-23 school year, 62.9% of the students in Barrington Community Unit School District 220 passed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 3,605 students in Barrington Community Unit School District 220 who took the ELA portion of the test, approximately 2,268 (62.9%) passed.

The percentage of Barrington Community Unit School District 220 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 8.5% compared to the previous school year.
