The RLAS-116 World Language Department is seeking volunteers for the 2025 World Language Night, scheduled for Thursday, April 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

World Language Night aims to inspire students and members of the Round Lake Area to appreciate the diversity within the community and globally. Students in the program work diligently to master language skills and engage in critical reflection of different perspectives worldwide. The event seeks to showcase their learning and exhibit the richness of a community where over 30 languages are represented.

"We are reaching out in hopes of your participation," said a representative from the department. They are looking for RLAS-116 families and staff willing to showcase their culture through recipes and food, artifacts/crafts, music, performances, or other methods.

Interested participants are asked to complete their commitment by Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025. The World Language Department will contact interested parties shortly thereafter with more specifics about the event.

"Thank you in advance for your cooperation and help," added the department.
