Westminster High School’s annual Wish Week is set to take place from February 24 to March 1, aiming to support Make-A-Wish Colorado. This year, the school has set a fundraising target of $8,500 through various events.

This year’s campaign is dedicated to Edwin, a five-year-old with a respiratory disorder caused by complications from premature birth. Edwin spent the first 15 months of his life in the hospital. His wish is for a trip to Walt Disney World.

The schedule for Wish Week includes:

- Monday, 2/24 – Culver’s Night (5:00 – 8:00 PM)

- Tuesday, 2/25 – Skate City (8:30 – 10:30 PM)

- Wednesday, 2/26 – Dodgeball Tournament & Kona Ice (5:45 PM, Westy Gym)

- Friday, 2/28 – Celebration Assembly (2:25 PM, Westy Gym) & Kona Ice Truck

- Saturday, 3/1 – Wish Week 5K Run (8:45 AM, Westminster High School)

Throughout the week, students and staff will participate in themed attire days and fundraising activities. Wish Week is part of the Kids For Wish Kids program, a student-led initiative through Make-A-Wish Colorado.

"Join us in making Edwin’s wish a reality," said organizers.
