Aurora police arrest two suspects in convenience store robbery

The Aurora Police Department announced the arrest of two individuals following a robbery incident at a local convenience store. The suspects, identified as John Doe and Jane Smith, were apprehended after an investigation by the department's robbery unit.

According to the police, the robbery occurred on February 15th at approximately 9:00 PM. Officers responded to a call from the store located on Main Street, where witnesses reported seeing two masked individuals enter the premises and demand money from the cashier.

"The quick response and thorough investigation by our officers led to the identification and arrest of these suspects," said Joe Moylan, spokesperson for the Aurora Police Department. "We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community and bringing those who commit crimes to justice."

The suspects have been charged with armed robbery and are currently being held in custody pending their court appearance. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the Aurora Police Department.
