The WHS Student Council is hosting its fourth annual Wish Week, a fundraiser supporting Make-A-Wish Colorado. The goal for this year is to raise $8,500 to help fulfill Edwin's dream of visiting Disney World.
A new addition to the fundraising events this year is a dodgeball tournament, scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, February 26th at 5:45 pm in the Westy Gym. Among the participants will be some familiar names, including Superintendent Dr. Gotto. There will be a $3 entrance fee for fans.
Additionally, Westy will host the second annual Run/Walk for Wishes 5K on Saturday, March 1st. The event will feature colored powder throws and costs $5 with WPS ID and $10 without. Participants are encouraged to bring friends and family to support the cause.
For those unable to attend either event but still wishing to contribute, donations can be made directly online.
