Belvidere School District Announces Kindergarten Orientation
The Belvidere School District has announced a Kindergarten Orientation session aimed at families new to the district and those interested in the Kindergarten Dual Language lottery program available at Seth Whitman and Lincoln Elementary Schools.
The orientation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th at 5:00 p.m. , located at Belvidere Central Middle School (8787 Beloit Road, Belvidere). The session will be accessible in both English and Spanish, with childcare services provided.
The Kindergarten Dual Language program is designed to promote bilingualism and biliteracy among students. It offers an immersive learning experience for kindergarteners in both English and Spanish.
Student registration for the upcoming school year will open online starting April 1st. Parents are encouraged to visit the district's registration page for more information on required documents and procedures.
