Meet Alex!

Growing up in Colorado, Alex Ramirez attended Denver Public Schools and Aurora Public Schools before earning a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from MSU Denver and a master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. Now in his third year at WPS, Alex is passionate about helping students navigate their futures and reach their full potential.

Favorite Food: Pho and pozole – the perfect comfort meals!

Favorite Athlete or Sports Team: Broncos, 100%!

Favorite Hobbies: Electronics enthusiast and video games – always tinkering and gaming in his free time.

Favorite Animal: Golden doodles, especially his own, Finnegan.

What I’m Listening To: A mix of Alternative Rock, Cumbia, and Hip-Hop.

Superpower: Telekinesis – the power to move things with my mind!

If I Could Make the World a Better Place: I’d provide people with the right resources to improve their unique lives and achieve their goals.

What WPS Has Meant to Me: Basically, WPS has taught me that education is personal because it is not just about what we learn; it’s how we apply it to create meaningful change. Success becomes achievable for everyone.

Who Inspires Me the Most: My wife Karla, and my family – their constant support keeps me going.
